Moving leads are NOT a thing of the past

February 24, 2020

So many movers have been trying to convince themselves that moving leads do not work any more. In actual fact, they could not be more wrong.

The amount of people moving goes up every year by around 5%, however, the amount of people visiting moving sites and filling in online requests goes up by a whopping 20%.
That is not a coincidence - more people are moving but even more people are becoming aware of their options.
In many American’s eyes, to move you used to have 2 options - A major van line, or a self move. Now, the privately owned companies are dominating the industry.
Their prices are competitive and their service is more personalized.

Another important aspect of todays leads are the way they are contacted. The phone is the least effective method for first contact in 2020. It is for this reason that your CRM or Moving software’s limitations could be severely effecting your contact ratio.
If you do not have texting as an option you are avoiding 75% of people's preferred method of first contact. More modern softwares such as Network Leads Moving Software can give you the necessary tools to compete in todays industry.

The modern consumer knows more - and so should you. Saying "moving leads don’t work any more”, is like getting a new computer and saying it doesn’t work, because you haven’t bothered to learn how the new operating system works. Leads work they just need to be treated differently.
The right approach is understanding that the moving industry is evolving like every other industry.

You most likely no longer use cassette tapes or even CD’s listen to music - But you still listen to music right?
The evolution of Moving leads is very much the same - You just need the right system and a new approach and they will work better than ever.
